Propane Safety Tips/Gas Leaks

Safety is our top priority. If you smell propane get to a safe location away from the gas leak and call Miami Erie Propane immediately at (855) 811-8290. If you can’t reach us, call 911 or your local fire department.

We also recommend every homeowner own and use propane and carbon monoxide detectors. Here are two we recommend:

FIRE TRAINING

In collaboration with the Ohio Propane Education Research Council, Miami Erie Propane sponsored a training day on June 10, 2023, for three local fire departments. Spencerville Invincible, Buckland Volunteer, and the St. Marys Township Fire Departments were in attendance.

Thanks to all who attended the training. We are grateful for these first responders who help keep everyone in our community safe! This training day was a small way for us to say, "Thanks."
